Skilled Nursing Services for Residents
Skilled nursing facilities focus on providing skilled nursing care and rehabilitative therapy. They can be located in long term care or short term care nursing homes and are often part of a continuing care program.
Todd Cardin Nursing Homes offer transitional skilled nursing services. This means that as a client’s condition continues to improve (or get worse) the care level received will change. Residents and their families will be able to work in conjunction with their doctor and our staff in order to determine the best route of care for each step of the recovery process. The long- or short-term care given will be customized for each client’s specific preferences and needs. All services are offered 24 hours a day by trained professionals.
There are many instances where skilled nursing care is required and our licensed staff is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the treatment plan. Some reasons for using skilled nursing care at a nursing home include wound care, respiratory care, stroke recovery, rehab due to breaks or joint replacements, general rehab for weakness, and diabetic care. No matter the reason, you can be assured that all services are provided with the goal of helping a patient recover while improving the quality of care at all levels.
